These terms cover using whiskr.lol generally. The contest itself — eligibility, how voting and winners work, the prize, and photo licensing — is governed by the official contest rules, which take precedence over anything here if the two ever conflict.
A free monthly cat photo contest decided by real public vote — no purchase necessary to enter or win — where each round's top vote-getter gets a one-of-a-kind original painting of their cat, hand-painted by artist Cody Carlson. Separately, and unrelated to the contest, anyone can order a custom print of their own cat photo (framed prints, canvas prints, posters, mugs, phone cases, totes, pillows, magnets, sweatshirts), made to order and shipped through our print partner.
You must be 18 or older to enter the contest or place an order. The contest is open only to legal residents of the United States. See the official rules for full contest eligibility.
Whiskr doesn't have user accounts or passwords. Entries, votes, and orders are tied to your email address, and links we send you (your status page, your order, a review request) carry a signed token instead of a login — don't share those links with anyone you don't want acting on your behalf.

We may remove content, disqualify entries, cancel orders, or refuse service for violating these terms, at our discretion.
Custom print orders are processed through Stripe. The price shown at checkout, including any shipping and tax, is what you're charged. See our Shipping & returns page for production time, shipping, and refund terms.
Original acrylic commissions are also processed through Stripe, but in two payments: a 40% deposit to book your slot, and the balance before the finished painting ships. The balance is never charged automatically — you see a photo of the finished painting first. Commission timelines, cancellation, and refund terms are set out under Original commissions.
Reviews on this site are only ever from verified, real orders — we don't buy, fabricate, or publish fake reviews or testimonials, and you shouldn't either. A review must reflect your own genuine order and experience.
You keep ownership of any photo you submit. By submitting one, you grant Whiskr the license described in the official contest rules and, for a custom order, the license needed to print and ship your product. Whiskr's own branding, site design, and text belong to Whiskr.
Whiskr is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the site will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, to the fullest extent the law allows.
We may update this site or these terms as the business changes. If we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page — continuing to use Whiskr after a change means you accept the update.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
